The institute for respiratory diseases \"Medaimun\" was founded in 2008. In the course of time, a private consultation service was added alongside our clinical research department. Our core competence lies in the implementation of phase 2 and phase 3 studies, as well as in the consultation and execution of monocentric \u201cproof of concept\u201d studies.               The Medaimun team mostly works as a \u201cstudy site\u201d in the context of multicenter and monocenter studies in the field of respiratory diseases such as asthma and COPD as well as allergic diseases (hay fever & food allergy).<\/p>

              We have certified investigators<\/strong>, who care for patients during study visits and serve as the point of contact for monitors regarding medical questions.<\/p>

              Highly qualified study nurses<\/strong>, who are responsible for organizing visit appointments, performing functional measurements such as lung function tests, ECGs, and blood collections, as well as managing study documentation in collaboration with the investigators.<\/p>

              We have a modern patient database<\/strong>\u00a0in which well-characterized patients with asthma, allergies, and COPD are recorded.<\/p>

              Medaimun has an inpatient organizational unit.\u00a0<\/strong>We are able to conduct overnight studies with serial lung function measurements and pharmacokinetic studies. We have beautiful overnight rooms (see slideshow).<\/p>

              Medaimun is an expert in sputum<\/strong>. An in-house accredited laboratory has specialized expertise in the collection and processing of induced sputum.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
